On Saturday Feb 21st, DCMC gathered at Jim and Ginny Petry’s home in Shelbyville for the Annual Souper Bowl / Chili party.
There were 5 entrys in the cook off; 2 – Chilis, a Potato soup, a Chicken Noodle soup and a broccoli cheddar soup. ALL five were delicious. All members attending also brought assorted salads, desserts and other noshes. The voting for best Soup/Chili was a blind vote and the winner was Ginny Petry’s Chicken Noodle Soup. After sharing of the wonderful food, Lynn Eddington led the group in some games and prizes were awarded. Check out the photos from the event !
