The very best cruising and showing weather in my opinion…is FALL!!
This coming Labor Day weekend there are three shows worth mentioning, two are local.
1) Sept 5th- Cave City Cars & Coffee Muscle Mania, 8-11 CST. FREE, Great live music, lots and lots of cool vehicles, food trucks, and a fun coffee shop. GaryO is leading the herd. Meeting at the rest stop just south of Shepherdsville, then a 1 hr drive to Cave City. RADIOS are highly encouraged for easy communications (just in case!). Lunch stop planned on the way home. 8 folks signed up so far.
07:30 – Meet at Bullitt Co Welcome Center
07:45 – Depart for Cave City via I-65 south
07:45 – Arrive Cave City (CST)
11:00 – Estimated departure to Bacon Creek Cafe in Bonnieville for lunch, if desired.
11:30-12:30- (CST) Lunch
Return to Louisville as desired.
2) Sept 7th- Labor Day- Valu Market Mt City Cruisers show. NEED a volunteer to lead the whole 1/2 mile to the show from Kroger in Mt Washington. 9-3 pm, $20.00, Door prizes and there is usually a nummy steak sandwich grilled up right there for lunch. Need a leader.
3) Sept 3-5 MCA Grand Nationals Kansas City KS- If anyone is going, I would gladly publish details.
